Lecture on Sostenibilità nel prisma della fotografia – Università degli studi di Milano

I was invited to give a lecture about “Sostenibilità nel prisma della fotografia” on Monday the 12th of November 2018 at the Università degli studi di Milano, Italy.

My talk was about my book Recycle and the themes of waste, sustainability and recycling. I show my pictures which captured a variety of situations revealing the face of humanity behind the waste it produces, recycles or has to endure.

Outline
Developing a personal vision as a photographer is both challenging and rewarding. Didier Ruef will lead participants through an exciting day of visual presentation and discussion. This course explores ways to develop a personal style while focusing on long-term goals.

Participants are requested to present a selection of their pictures – digital or printed- for an initial portfolio review, so that Didier Ruef can adapt to students’ work.

During the day, the work will be edited and discussed in order to raise issues and constructive critics.

The aim of the workshop is to guide each photographer towards his own way of looking and help him to create a personal style.
